Meet Lauren Faulk
Special Education Consultant | Teacher Advocate | Flower Farmer at Heart
Based in Greenbrier, Arkansas, Lauren Faulk brings over 14 years of hands-on experience in special education. She has served as both a self-contained special education teacher and an early childhood developmental therapist—working with students across a wide range of abilities and needs.
Lauren understands that no two classrooms—or students—are alike. That’s why she focuses on practical, real-world strategies that make an immediate impact. Her consulting approach centers around helping teachers design classroom systems that are organized, behavior-friendly, and easy to maintain.
When she’s not empowering educators, you can find Lauren tending to her family flower farm until “Frostmas” in late fall or cheering on her two boys with her husband, Brian.
Specially Designed Solutions offers a continuum of services for school district special education departments, classrooms, and individual student and staff members.
Professional Learning
Specially Designed Solutions offers comprehensive professional learning opportunities through whole-group staff development sessions, facilitated teaming sessions, and individualized or classroom-based coaching designed to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes.
Classroom Organization & Setup
Through classroom observations and collaboration with staff, Specially Designed Solutions helps redesign classroom systems by implementing effective schedules, visual supports, and management structures that support students in meeting their IEP goals.
Students with Extensive Support Needs
Specially Designed Solutions supports classrooms serving students with extensive support needs. Through the development of individualized task boxes, structured center rotation schedules, and targeted instructional systems, teachers and paraprofessionals are equipped to meet each student’s unique needs. This approach promotes direct instruction aligned with IEP goals while fostering structure, executive functioning, and independence.
